NOT happy birthday....
Did you know my buddy Carmen was born on April 23rd? She and I made a pact not to celebrate birthdays after our 29th, so I would like to wish her a very happy ordinary not-birthday kind of day tomorrow. Not at all happy birthday, you see... just a friend hoping her friend has a good day that just happens to be the same day as when she was born. That's it.

Thanks for the average ordinary good day wish. You know how you know you are getting old? When you are happy about getting new Rubbermaid containers and a new can opener for your birthday. Yep, that's what I got, and I was pretty happy about it. How sad is that?
Yeah, Carm... that's bad. Happy about rubbermaid? Whew... we need to get you out more.
I didn't make any pact. Happy Birthday, Carmen. Don't worry. I won't tell anyone how old you are. But the Rubbermaid thing might give it away.
